Pete Cimellaro |
Pete Cimellaro is a native Arizonan, born in Mc Nary, Arizona. He grew up in Phoenix and couldn’t wait for the weekends and summer vacation to go to the mountains and go fishing. Pete graduated from Arizona State University in 1973 with a bachelors in education. He married the love of his life, Cathy in 1977; and together they have a son, Michael, and two daughters, Ann and Christine. In 1975, Pete managed Universal Camper Manufacturing Company, and, in 1982 purchased the business. He owned the company until 1999, when he sold it to make guiding and wildlife conservation his sole profession. Pete has a passion for wildlife. He not only loves to hunt but works to help insure that hunting and fishing will continue in the state of Arizona by being very active in many of the state wildlife conservation organizations. Pete has held a guide license since 1978 and has guided over 150 successful sheep hunts. He started Yellowhorn Outfitters in 1993 using the phrase, ”Outdoor Experiences That Will Last A Lifetime”, which still remains his motto.
